How to compare YouTube channels and videos
- Choose Channel or Video for each side, then search by name or paste the relevant YouTube URL or ID.
- Select a result on each side. Check the names and the metric labels before reading the difference.
- Keep the page open to follow changes, or copy the address from your browser to share this pair.
Two channels
Compare subscriber estimates, channel views and uploads. Public YouTube subscriber totals are rounded down to three significant figures; estimated live counts can differ.
Two videos
Compare views, likes and comments where the provider supplies them. Readings may update at different times, so a short pause does not mean activity has stopped.
A channel and a video
You can display both together, but subscribers and video views measure different things. Their numerical difference is not a growth rate or a measure of which creator performs better.
FAQ
Why does the count differ from YouTube?
Public subscriber totals are rounded, live subscriber figures may be estimated, and providers can cache data. These counters do not have access to a creator's private YouTube Studio analytics.
Does the chart show all-time history?
The comparison charts collect readings while this page is open. Reloading the page starts a new session; a flat section can reflect delayed updates rather than no activity.
How do I share a comparison?
Select both subjects and wait for them to load. The browser address changes to a link containing both IDs. Copy that address; changing either subject updates the link.
What does the difference mean?
For two channels it compares the displayed subscriber totals; for two videos it compares views. It is the gap between current readings, not subscribers or views gained over a time period. Mixed channel/video comparisons use different units.
