Formerly One Earth Future Foundation. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) make up 90% of businesses globally and generate the majority of jobs. Yet in fragile and conflict-affected settings, they face major barriers to accessing capital and capacity-building support needed to scale.

Shuraako Capital exists to change that. Our mission is to build a robust support ecosystem for SMEs in fragile and conflict-affected settings. We offer long-term, Sharia-compliant growth capital combined with hands-on technical assistance—partnering with entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, development partners to leverage private capital to close the SDG financing gap, and impact-focused investors to channel capital into some of the world’s most challenging markets.
