Green Hills Kitchen

This channel is my attempt to try to preserve some of our traditional recipes as well as vegetables by sharing how to grow and cook them. Sometimes I look back at my childhood and think what a satisfying life we used to live with very little means. A deep sense of loss and longing works in me when I see those things slowly fading away. I want to document some of my mother's simple recipes while I can for my future generation. I am a fervent gardener and cook always trying to look back at the old days while still learning new tricks and bringing magic in my kitchen by combining the both.

Also, I want to present my thrifty and simple lifestyle which I find to be very wholesome and pleasing. I've lived a difficult life navigating through a lot of struggles that were imposed on me. I've had to work extremely hard and make sensible timely decisions to be where I am today. I feel my stories are worth sharing and that's what I plan to do while showing how I grow and cook.
