Porn on VHS a solo lofi project out of Los Angeles, CA. Drawing strong influences from the emergent Midwest DIY scene, Porn on VHS blends a vintage electronic sound with a unique Midwest Emo element.
PoVHS began releasing singles in the summer of 2018, and is scheduled to release a full length album “Tarot” in 2019 Which was completely produced in a bedroom over the course of that year. The self - produced series showcases the unique art style associated with the Porn on VHS project as well as the diverse sound styles the project has to offer.
In addition to the continued release of recorded music, Porn on VHS regularly performs one person live shows. Heavily incorporating looping, as well as elements of improv into each set, the life performances add a completely new layer to the overall sound of the band.
