Meet your host:

MANOLITO SULIT, a native of Ibaan, Batangas, earned his AB Journalism degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 1993. He began his career as a reporter for Balita, and contributed articles and stories to Liwayway, Filipino Magazine, The Manila Chronicle, and the National Book Review.

He went on to teach at several institutions, including De La Salle University, St. Paul College of Manila, Pablo Borbon Memorial Institute of Technology (now Batangas State University), and Sto. Niño Formation and Science School. He also served as a staff member at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Sulit is known as a passionate pro-river advocate and community activist in Ibaan.
