Rev. Brandan Robertson

Rev. Brandan Robertson is an acclaimed author, activist, and public theologian working at the intersections of spirituality, sexuality, and social renewal. An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, he serves as Pastor of Sunnyside Reformed Church in New York City and as Theologian-in-Residence at Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ in Miami. He is the Founder of DevOUT, a nonprofit challenging far-right religious narratives and amplifying inclusive faith voices across digital and traditional media. Known as the “TikTok Pastor,” Robertson engages nearly 400,000 followers and has reached over 10 million viewers worldwide. His sermons air weekly on Star.FM stations nationwide. A prolific writer, he has authored or contributed to more than twenty-seven books, including True Inclusion, an INDIES Book of the Year Award Finalist. His work has appeared in TIME, The Washington Post, NBC News. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Studies at Drew University.
