FONYUY NSOBUNRIKA Leonard alias Mr Leo is a creative and dynamic award winning afropop and afrofusion singer, songwriter, and cultural promoter, born in 1990. Originally from the North West region of Cameroon.

In 2007, he took his first steps in music by joining the “Breakthrough Voices” of Molyko. After a few years spent in this choir and in a few studios, he began a professional career under the mentorship of Salatiel with the label Apha Better Records.

Revealed to the general public with his song “E Go Better”, a story that tells the story of a young man who hopes for a better tomorrow for himself and his girlfriend, he touched the hearts of many young people who recognized themselves in him. This song propelled him to the top and made Mr. Leo the new nugget to watch out for.

Today he is a household name in Cameroon and across French Speaking Africa, with two albums to his name, several awards and recognitions, including Knight of the National Order of Merit, Afrima Nomination and voting member of the Grammy Academy
