With over 400,000 subscribers on YouTube, 22Gz’s viral dances and gritty music videos have drawn millions of views, making him a go-to for fans of real drill sound.

Rising from hardship, including the loss of his father, his music reflects resilience and raw emotion. He followed up The Blixky Tape (2019) with Growth & Development in 2020, featuring the hit “Suburban, Pt. 2,” which has almost 100 million streams. Complex called him a “trailblazer,” and HYPEBEAST credited him for bringing Brooklyn drill to the mainstream.

In 2023, 22Gz went independent, under new management BetterVibesOnly. With Growth & Development II DELUXE as his first independent release, he now owns his masters and proudly claims his title as “The Brooklyn Drill G.O.A.T.”
