Gifts for Golisano

This is a Gold Award Project called Gifts for Golisano, which was organized by Catarina Caruso. Catarina was a summer volunteer at the Golisano children's hospital medical library in her sophomore year of high school. Through her volunteer experience, she has created her Girl Scout Gold Award project aimed to address the issue of children's education. Catarina believes reading is something that should essentially be implemented in an individual from a young age. Through a club she is a part of at her high school, the National English Honors Society (NEHS), she wants to be able to give back to children's education. She created the idea of starting a 2-week book drive through the honors society. With those donations, she brought them to the medical library at Golisano for the patients and their families. These videos featured on this YouTube channel are audiobook recordings donated by the National English Honors Society (NEHS) members at Fort Myers High School and Girl Scout Troop 376.
