About CICITEM CHILE
CICITEM se constituye bajo la figura de Corporación de derecho privado sin fines de lucro, obteniendo su personalidad jurídica el 5 de mayo del 2008, mediante la Res. Ex. 1694, del Ministerio de Justicia, con la finalidad de descentralizar la ciencia y generar innovación y tecnología a nivel regional.
En la actualidad, proyecta consolidarse como un Centro de Investigación Científico Tecnológico de excelencia que provea soluciones innovadoras y efectivas, desarrolladas por investigadores locales para el desarrollo sustentable y sostenible de la Región de Antofagasta, manteniendo como meta el posicionamiento internacional del centro. Para ello, CICITEM ha desarrollado investigación científico-tecnológica para abordar los problemas, necesidades y desafíos de la Región y su industria, definiendo 4 líneas basales de investigación.
