Sat-Chit-Ananda-Temple Society (SCATS), based in Newcastle, KZN was established in 1990.

SCATS is well-known for its feeding schemes and youth development programs, among many others. However the most virtuous is promoting Sanathan Dharma!

Renowned for the celebration of all festivities: Maha Shivrathri, Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanthi, Krishna Janmashtami & Navratri to name a few.

From hosting Revered Gurus and Priest to spiritual retreats, the Sat-Chit-Ananda-Temple also hosts weekly Satsangs

Our mission at Sat Chit Ananda Temple Society of Newcastle is:

• To provide a place of worship and be the spiritual resource center for the community of Newcastle and surrounding areas

• To preserve and promote Sanathan cultural values.

• To provide aspirants from any background the path to peace and bliss through DEVOTION, SERVICE, AND VEDIC TEACHINGS (Karma, Bhakti, and Gyan Yoga) from our scriptures.
