About Ferid

Ferid El Extranjero is a rapper and hip-hop artist from Tunisia (Jbel lahmer), who is considered one of the pioneers of the Tunisian rap scene. He became famous for his song "3abad fe terkina," which was released in 2005. Ferid began his music career in the late 1990s, as he became interested in the emerging hip-hop culture in Tunisia. Inspired by artists like Public Enemy, he began rapping and making music himself. In 1991, he joined the Tunisian rap group Filozof, which is known as a prominent pioneer group in the Tunisian rap scene.

After leaving Tunisia in 1999 and emigrating to Spain, Ferid joined Delahoja, who were one of the most well-known Spanish hip-hop bands.

After his time with Delahoja, Ferid El Extranjero focused on his own Tunisian music career. Overall, Ferid El Extranjero is one of the most well-known rappers in Tunisia and has influenced the rap scene in the country. His lyrics are politically and socially engaged and have earned him many fans and admirers.
