About Malik Harris - Topic
Malik Harris, the first ever German-American artist to spend a week on a Times Square billboard, is a singer-songwriter who combines organic pop and a mixture of Rap and singing with deep lyrics and unconventional songwriting. The 25-year-old multi-instrumentalist grew up inspired by songwriters like Tyler Joseph from twenty one pilots, the electronic sounds of Jack Garratt or the modern rap styles of artists like NF. Teaching himself how to play guitar, piano, drums and bass and combining that with his unique voice he has developed his very own pop style.
Malik Harris was already able to demonstrate his extraordinary live qualities supporting artists such as James Blunt, Calum Scott, Alex Clare, Tom Odell, Walk Off the Earth or LP and stunned both press and audience with his likeable nature, his catchy songs and his unique way of performing completely alone on stage looping multiple instruments, vocals and beatbox.
The One-Man-Band sold out his first headliner tour in 2022 right after he released his debut album 'Anonymous Colonist' which so far has amassed more than 1,000,000 Shazams and 120,000,000 streams worldwide.
His 2022 single Rockstars hit Top10 in the German Single Charts, peaking at #4 on German Radio AirPlay, charting in several European countries and hitting #64 in the worldwide Shazam charts.
In 2022 Malik Harris was also officially nominated for Germany's biggest music award as 'Best Newcomer Act 2022'.
