Aloo From Rome

My name is Aloo From Rome, I am singer, songwriter, and producer. Originally from Rome, I've been living in Berlin since 2012. The name "Aloo" is a playful nickname from my family, meaning potato, while "From Rome" is how people abroad often refer to me. My musical journey began with jazz, a genre I studied and performed from a young age. Over time, I transitioned into neo-soul, R&B, and house music, blending my jazz roots with modern sounds. I write my own songs, play the piano, and produce some of my tracks but also collab with great musicians.

My new EP, "Intentional Love," set to release on August 2, 2024, reflects a more mature perspective on love and life. It's about showing love intentionally, living without fear of vulnerability, and making thoughtful choices that shape our lives. The EP has a house lofi vibe and includes three more energetic remixes: Scruscru with a garage remix, Imaginary Friend with a hip hop twist, and Donnie Moustaki with a funk new soul version.
