About Andrés Montero
Andrés is a composer, orchestrator, and arranger based in Los Angeles. He has been lead orchestrator on No Time to Spy (Nickelodeon), Mooned (Illumination), Fearless (Netflix), The Claus Family (Netflix), and Woodwalkers (Blue Eyes Fiction), and has contributed orchestrations to films such as The Lego Movie 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Hotel Transylvania 3, and the series Revenge and Empire.
As part of JoAnn Kane Music Service, Andrés has worked on Star Wars (Episodes VII–IX), Mary Poppins Returns, Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, The Simpsons, and The Oscars 2020.
He has also collaborated internationally, including arranging for DASDUR’s orchestral fireworks finale in Bahrain and orchestrating Colombian films Alias María (Cannes 2015) and Carta a una Sombra.
He scored the feature Río Seco and the short Venena Bibas (Amsterdam LGBTQ Film Festival). Andrés is also a founding member and long-time arranger for the Bogotá Symphony Orchestra (FOSBO).
