Al B. Sure!’s history in the entertainment industry spans three decades. Moguls, Quincy Jones, Benny Medina, Andre’ Harrell and DJ Eddie F collectively assisted in introducing Al B. Sure! as an innovative singer, songwriter, producer and recording artist in the business of music.

In Effect Mode 1988 Warner Bros debut album is RIAA certified triple platinum and held the #1 position on Billboard’s R&B chart for 7 consecutive weeks. Al B Sure was the 1st winner of the prestigious Sony Innovator Talent Search. Al is featured on the historic #1 R&B gold single, Secret Garden of Q's Back on the Block with Quincy Jones, the late Barry White, El Debarge and James Ingram.

Nominated for 4 Grammys, winner of the American Music Award for Best New R&B Artist, Soul Train Award for Best New Artist; and over 75 ASCAP Awards for writing & composition performance, Al was appointed to the prestigious role of VP of A&R of Motown Records.
