ABOUT ME:

I play the piano by ear as a hobby. I have no formal training and just do it for fun (my avatar is a toy piano). The pieces here are my own interpretations / arrangements.

THE CREATIVE COMMUNITY:

I am in awe of the diverse individuals in YouTube. I think it's a great idea for everyone to share their gifts / interests in whatever capacity they can. I am definitely a minor player in all this, but I decide to share anyway.... even with my imperfections and limited skills. No shame! The spirit of creativity is expressed, uniquely, in all of us. I would love to see everyone create, for each individual has something to offer.... no matter how big or small it may perceived to be.

COMMENTS:

Post anything you want. The only thing I delete is commercial spam. I especially appreciate constructive criticism, as it's helpful when you point out areas of potential improvement.

TUTORIALS:

Tutorials are one way I can be of service. Feel free to ask for one, but it has to be for a piece that I've already uploaded -- I don't really take requests for new songs. These tutorials may not suit everyone, however. It's a learning style that is visual, auditory, and kinesthetic and requires some use of memory. If you learn best using sheet music or verbal instruction, I cannot help you through these tutorials. Fortunately, there are many great individuals out there who can. The worst / best that can happen is that you realize this method doesn't work for you, and begin actually studying music "properly" as a result....

SHEET MUSIC:

Sometimes, awesome individuals come forward and lend their transcription skills to make sheets for some of the arrangements. I am very grateful when this happens and immediately post it for everyone to download. If you think you would enjoy transcribing some of the pieces here, please go ahead! A big THANK YOU to G.
