About Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Ashok Yadav (born 14 September 1990) is an Indian international cricketer, who plays for the Indian cricket team in the limited overs format. He plays for the Mumbai cricket team and for Mumbai Indians in the Indian domestic cricket. He is considered to be one of the best and the most destructive white-ball cricket player in contemporary world cricket. Yadav has drawn comparisons to AB de Villiers, often considered as one of the greatest batsman of all time due to his ability to hit the ball all around the ground, particularly behind the wicket-keeper.As of 1 November 2022, Suryakumar Yadav is ranked as the number one batsman in the world in T20.

He captained Mumbai cricket team in T20 and First-class Cricket for brief period of time, since 2010. He made his T20I debut for India on 14 March 2021 against England. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India on 18 July 2021 against Sri Lanka.

His jersey number is 63.
