About Fred Wantante

Fred Wantaate has a Ph.D. from Regent University, Virginia (Spring 2014-Summer 2019), and an M.A. in Organization Leadership & Management from the Uganda Christian University in Mukono (2005-2008). He has been the Regional Coordinator of the Evangelical Fellowship of Uganda in the Buganda region (approximately 4,000 churches). The Fellowship is both a member of the Nairobi based continental body, the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA), and the global evangelical body – the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA). He is the Senior Pastor in the Makerere Full Gospel Church and oversees numerous churches located in Uganda.

His passion is to bring transformation in developing countries in Africa by engaging in activities that promote integrous and people-focused leadership and expand employment opportunities for youth in Africa. He is an advocate for ethical leadership that models and inculcates moral values in society.
