The Stop Mandated Shunning project was created to exposed cults, high-control religions, & high control groups that use enforced, organized ostracism to control their members and divide families. Some groups include Amish & Mennonites, Jehovah's Witnesses, some forms of Islam, Ultra Orthodox (Haredi) Jews, Exclusive Brethren, Baha'i Faith, Scientology, FLDS (Fundamentalist Mormon), Geelong Revival Centre, Calvary Temple, La Luz del Mundo, The Unification Church ("Moonies"), Two by Twos, and other authoritarian groups.
