Paul Barnes

Pianist Paul Barnes specializes in contemporary American music, Liszt, and works inspired by Byzantine chant. Barnes has worked closely with Philip Glass and commissioned the Piano Quintet "Annunciation" and the Second Piano Concerto "After Lewis and Clark." Barnes is Marguerite Scribante Professor of Piano at the Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also serves as head chanter at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
