I've talked about licensed video games before. Unfortunately, most franchises get no respect, but the Cars property got lots of respect not gaining one shovelware title, and there were four mainstream titles. Cars is a very successful franchise spawning everything from toys, books, clothing, a sequel, with a third movie on its way. The franchise has a huge following that spans two generations.
