I spent all of my formative and teenage years in the care of various council children's homes and foster care. Later I spent time in prison, which although unpleasant, was not such a hardship to an institutionalised young man.

Here I tell stories of my life. Some harrowing tales of abuse. Sometimes an amusing story. Some tales of the trials and tribulations of a wayward youth. Some are as I got older and learned about the real world and the pain and the happiness it brings in unequal measure to some of us.

Today, I live a quiet alternative lifestyle with my dog and cat in a Showman's type wagon I built myself.

I am an artist, a writer and a craftsman in any material I can find.

I find extra freedom these days as an old man by riding my motorbike. I find it a great cure for the anxiety and depression that creeps up on me at times. It has been with me forever and has been the cause of a lot of life's problems.
