I'm a retired history professor and computer engineer who's enjoying being able to do what I want, when I want. I like the unusual, hard to find, and strange. And, yes, I actually hold an earned PhD, but please don't hold that against me!

I seek to spread my love, joy, and knowledge to anyone who cares to watch or listen.

When I write a review, I do so as neutrally as possible no matter who makes a model or who pays for it: this is a "no-fanboy zone." I have read extensively on the concept of de-individualism and choice-supportive bias and know how harmful it can be. Remember: YOU own items from any particular manufacturer--that manufacturer DOESN'T OWN YOU, YOUR THOUGHTS, or YOUR IDEAS. But, I digress...

I'm just a guy having fun and trying to spread happiness, so abusive or harassing comments reported and removed immediately--don't even waste your time. People who have good things to say that but are shadoobanned by fanboys will be elevated.
