先代から受け継がれてきた言葉になる前の原始的感情を今を生きる人々へ、さらにはその先の時代に生きる人へと繋いでいく。ジャズ、ソウルミュージック、オルタナティブロック、フォーク、自然が生み出したものから影響を受けた有機的なサウンドと独特な表情を持つ歌声が特徴。

luvisはluv(love) is から来ており、生涯かけて「愛とは何か」を模索しながら表現活動を続けていくというテーマを掲げている。

Born in Uji, Kyoto, luvis is a Tokyo-based singer-songwriter, trackmaker, and guitarist. He writes, composes, arranges, and produces all of his music. He carries forward primal emotions that predate language, connecting them to people living today and to future generations. His music is influenced by jazz, soul, alternative rock, folk, and nature, characterized by organic sounds and a distinct, expressive voice. luvis’s name comes from "luv is," symbolizing his lifelong quest to explore and express the meaning of love.
