In addition to the pre-recorded background vocals, I record all the vocal parts.

The main vocal filmed take is being sung live by me if you see me on the mic. The performances I give are not comped. In one continuous take, I keep it live. Making mistakes and exposing them on YouTube has been liberating and humbling and taught me a lot about myself (I'm trying to overcome my perfectionistic tendencies). Lip syncing has only been tried once on my channel, but that's all I've tried. It's just that I enjoy learning and practicing the songs live. I would appreciate any constructive feedback you have.
