Born in Kanifing, Gambia, Reflex discovered his passion for music at the young age of nine, deeply inspired by his late uncle and producer, MJ.

His official debut came in 2019 with the release of “Drippin,” a single that quickly gained traction and introduced his raw talent to the Gambian music scene.

In 2021 released back-to-back hits “Bruce Lee” and “LITT,” both of which dominated the airwaves and positioned him as one of the hottest upcoming rappers of the year.

In 2022, Reflex released “Higher,” which became the first Gambian song to go viral on TikTok. That same year, he dropped his critically acclaimed debut EP, “Spaceship & Astronauts”

In 2024, he released “Gambian Thing,” an anthem that not only topped the Apple Music Gambia charts at #1 but also became one of the most iconic songs in Gambian music history.

Today, Reflexthaboy stands as a trailblazer in Gambia’s new music wave with a growing discography and ever-expanding fan base
