About Kiwis in the Woods

in 2022 Bridget and Joe travelled from New Zealand to walk The Appalachian Trail - a 3500 km wilderness trail on the East Coast of the USA. After 1400 kms ( 845 miles) in 8 unforgettable weeks they decided to hang up their hiking shoes but vowed to return to finish the Trail. In 2023 they are heading back to the USA to clock up some more miles by spending another 8 weeks hiking through the woods of the Appalachian Trail.

FAQ

The main live figure may be a third-party estimate. The API count is the public total, rounded down to three significant figures. Cached results and provider delays can affect both. The chart appends new subscriber readings every few seconds. That gives you a rolling growth trace instead of a static count snapshot.
