Welcome! I’m Hilary Burt – composer, producer, musician, dyslexia tutor, dog lover and nature lover.
On this channel, you'll find plenty of original songs, piano tutorials, music theory tips, Sibelius & Musescore tutorials, plus funky backing tracks and relaxing nature soundscapes from the countryside around West Sussex.
I write jazz-inspired music and have released many tracks available on Spotify as well as with sync agencies and music libraries worldwide.
I also work with musicians who need production help with their mixes, or who have a song inside them and need help 'getting it out'. My ‘Hilary Burt Music’ website gives more info on how to 'Finish Your Song'.
I’ve been a teacher since 1986, and specialise in working 1:1 with children who have dyslexic-type difficulties - both online and face to face.
