Dr. Soniya Sharma (Ph.D. & M.A. - Kathak, M.A. - Public Administration) is a multidisciplinary dancer & performer. She belongs to Jaipur Gharana & is a Gandha Bandh Shishya of great Kathak Guru PT. GIRDHARI MAHARAJ. She has done her Masters in Kathak from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow & Rajasthan School of Arts, Jaipur.
She has been practicing Kathak for more than 25 years now. Her dancing styles include Kathak, Indian Folk like Ghoomar, Kalbeliya, Giddha, Bihu etc. & Bollywood.
Work Experience:
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, Pratap nagar, Jaipur (2010-Present)
Kathak and other Dance style Trainer.
Awards & Accolades:
Represented Rajasthan State in the Republic Day Parade of 1999. Her performance was appreciated by Mr. K.R. Narayan (Ex-President), Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Ex-Prime Minister) and other dignitaries.
