About RAN - Topic

RAN are a pop group from Jakarta Indonesia. Consisting of core members, Rayi Putra, Asta Andoko and Nino Kayam, the three developed an honest and focusing song writing by becoming great friends not only in the band, but being supportive in their personal lives as well. Together, they push each other in their song writing limits farther and farther which matures the band’s sound as a whole. Their outlook on music has always been to take the art seriously and to have depth and thoughtfulness while songwriting.

Formed in 2006, RAN first introduced themselves to audiences national wide with the release of “Pandangan Pertama” in 2008, entered many charts and become a hit at Top 40 radio, where it went to become one of the most played songs of the year.

Almost as soon as they started playing together, RAN had a palpable chemistry and easy camaraderie that thay hope to carry over into their audience. We really wan this to feel like a party. We want everyone to feel like they’re in on this little world that we’ve created for ourselves,” Rayi says.
