Electrical Engineers' Society

The Electrical Engineers’ Society is a segment of the Department of Electrical Engineering of IIEST Shibpur. It is an independent organization of a large group of students, professors, and amateurs around Kolkata and beyond. It is a knot between students and faculty of the electrical engineering department.

The society is made up of students with diversified perspectives who are working together to organize cultural and technical events like Freshers' welcome, Farewell, Sphuran, various interactive sessions with renowned dignitaries, and also provide guidance for internship and placement to the students. It is an independent association for carrying out workshops, seminars, and other welfare programs.

We at EES, have the ambition to take this initiative to a global level and contribute to the advancement of technology. Anybody who is an electrical engineering enthusiast can become a part of this community and exchange ideas for the development of this society.
