Solaris Recordings began in 2005 with bootleg of 'Killa' from Way Out West. Swiftly signed and legitimized the expansive Orkidea remix became the very first release on the label. Tracks and remixes from some of the biggest names on Trance and Progressive scene have featured, including Solarstone, Thrillseekers, Ferry Corsten, Hybrid, Mark Pledger, Orkidea many more.

Solaris is owned 50/50 between the Lost Language label and Rich Mowatt (Solarstone). Rich joined in 2008 and was the face of the label / A&R chief until 2013. Rich went on to found the most excellent Pure Trance label.
