Adi Istrate

Adi Istrate is a 24 year-old Romanian singer-songwriter and actor. He is attending the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music in London – Songwriting and Vocals. He discovered his passion for music from an early age and the first instrument that he learned to play was drums. Over the years he learned to play 4 instruments such as guitar, marimba, bass guitar and piano. In 2015 he engaged in the X Factor competition and right after this experience he was offered the opportunity to be part of one of the most famous boy bands in Romania (MAXIM). This is where his music career officially started and where he felt how to be a star. Some of the most important events in his career have been the Media Music Awards (2 nominations) and Eurovision (4th place). In 2016 he had the honor to share the stage with James Arthur and Willy William which was very exciting. Right now, he is focusing on his solo career and he is working with a lot of important artists in Romania.
