Madhuvanam Ashram is an independent institution founded in the year 1990 by Madhuvanam Sai Fraternity headed by Sri Krishnan Kartha , with the sole purpose of attainment of wholesome human excellence .He received direct guidance from Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba through 49 personal audiences between 1989 and 2002. Mr.Kartha was instructed to focus on Wisdom while maintaining the action path of selfless community service and devotion as the two wheels to set the vehicle on motion, The ashram is the headquarters of the NGOs under this Fraternity engaged in these assignments.The Fraternity has also been instructed not to propagate Sai Baba , as all forms and names are One and the Same. The well wishers and visitors at Madhuvanam are encouraged to follow their own religion, belief system or path of wisdom since there is NO single and sole path to Wisdom bestowing human excellence, This human excellence is looked upon as divinity by the society,
