I am currently a Singer, Composer, Songwriter, Performer, and Arranger in Tamang & Nepali Music Industry.
Early life and family
I was born into a Tamang family on 31 November 1964 in Mukpaa village District of Kavrepalanchowk. My family originally belonged to Mukpaa village. I’m the only son of my mother Saili Tamang and my father Ghajbir Dong has two wives. My father and mother both are farmers. I married Chandra Maya Tamang in 1979. I have two sons and two daughters. I was moved to Kathmandu in 1981.
Career
I started my musical career age of 22, training under Dipendra Man Sing in (1989 -1990), and Vocal special musical training by late Gopal Yonzon in (1990 – 1995). I released many Tamang & Nepali folk, modern, and pop albums. My first album is Tamang Hwai which is a record in 1990. I give the solo album 4 nos, Music composition – 22 Nos, in combination – 12 Nos. My largest selling albums - Ko Mendo (Tamang Folk album) – 1994 Distributed by Master Recordings.
Concerts & Programs
I was performed a solo concert - Sangitik Ramjam Sanjh – 2003 organized by Tamang Dajang, Kathmandu. And performed musical and cultural programs in various cities and parts of Nepal.
I have performed the cultural programs in Bhutan-2002, Qatar-2009, Malaysia-2010, Dubai-2010, 2012, Hongkong-2012, Bahrain, South Korea, Japan, Israel-2020, Europe Tour-2020 I was performed an India – Asam, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Sikking.
