About Dr Jessica Gomez
Hi! I’m Jessica and I’m a research scientist in environmental chemistry.
Previous to my current role, I was a chemistry PhD student studying at the University of Aberdeen (National Decommissioning Centre). My research was based on trying to find a natural product solution to biofouling of oil and gas structures.
I have a lot of videos about PhD life, showing what could be expected from a lab-based PhD project. I also have some videos giving PhD related advice based on my own PhD experience!
