This channel is started with an intiative to preserve and publicise rare recordings which are not available on the internet. This channel also gives an idea about the singers of the past, and probably the early style and renditions of some of the prominent singers of the 20th century. My channel will also give a brief idea about how carnatic music has evolved and how great stalwarts have sculpted it to the form we alll are exposed to today. This channel might be a treausre trove for those who are in this field, or those who are researching about carnatic music. Though some of the recordings in this channel might not be pleasant to hear, or may be difficult to enjoy, it gives an idea about the past artists and their reptoire.
