About ZiaHyunsuShin 신지아

Zia Shin is a violinist representing South Korea, who has astounded the world through her international accomplishments.

In 2008, Zia Shin expanded her domestic and international career by winning First Prize as well as four prestigious awards at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition.

While in the midst of over 100 global performances in Japan, all Asia, and other foreign countries, Shin continued to challenge herself and ultimately received the “Count de Launoit Prize (Third Place)” at the 2012 Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in Belgium.

Zia Shin started playing the violin at the age of four and in 2004, she was admitted early to Korea National University of Arts Preparatory School as a music prodigy. Since her elementary age, Shin participated in the Education for Art Prodigies Program at Korea National University of Arts, under the guidance of violinist and Professor Nam-Yun Kim.
