In the early days of tool-assisted speedruns, there were two prominent platforms, namely speedruns.net and tasvideos.org. These were originally known as speedruns.org and bisqwit.iki.fi/nesvideos, respectively. I was the operator of speedruns.org/.net.

During that time, I was granted a director's account on YouTube, which was significant because it did not adhere to the then-standard 10-minute video length limit that restricted most users. After stepping away from managing speedruns.net/.org, I shifted my focus to supporting TASVideos.org by uploading their content according to their site license ensuring that all videos were published with complete credits and links back to their original source.

Thus, it's crucial to understand that this channel was not created by appropriating or stealing content from others. Instead, it's built on collaboration and a shared passion for showcasing the art of speedrunning in its most precise and entertaining forms.
