Growing up in Malaysia, I spent my secondary school and university years playing in small bands, jamming in cramped rehearsal rooms, and secretly dreaming of becoming a rock star. It was never a real plan, just a teenage wish that felt magical while it lasted. The guitars were loud and the passion was real.

Life moved on and responsibilities grew. I traded those dreams for career goals and stability. Music stayed in my heart but not in my daily life. Then in late 2024, I discovered how to create on YouTube. Starting the SongAlchemist channel reignited something I thought I had lost. It gave me a place to write emotional rock, dark cinematic ballads, and honest music drawn from my own feelings and from the stories people share with me.

In April 2025, my home was damaged in a major gas pipe explosion. It was not life threatening, but it shook everything. To cope, I wrote and posted more music to quiet the noise inside. During that difficult time, the channel grew and became a small but meaningful supplemental stream that helped me through that chapter.

The most unexpected part was the people who shared how my songs relate to their struggles and healing. Those comments became fuel. Every song comes from real feelings, mine or yours, and I hope they bring comfort and connection to anyone who needs it.
