Gary Borstelmann

Gary "The Amazing Sladek" has been entertaining families for four decades from the Americas to Japan. He started his career after an amazing high school and college run of Gymnastic Championships. His circus career was started when producer Tommy Hanneford spotted Gary at Farmingdale College in 1978. Mr. Hanneford took Gary under his wing that summer and brought him to Americana Amusement Park to train and become part of the Royal Hanneford Famous Bareback Riding Troupe. It was here that Gary began honing his skills on trampoline, hand balancing, trick riding, and aerial work. After a solid year of arduous training, "The Amazing Sladek" was born. Almost four decades later, The Amazing Sladek is still bringing his talents into the ring to audiences far and wide, most recently including NBA halftime shows. While Gary has mastered many acts over the years, he is most famous for being able to touch an audience with his unique personality and true love for performing.
