Greek popular music has sublime melodies and lyrics which can inspire one to learn the Greek language.

I am Leon, an English speaking lover of Greek music and all things Greek. I lost my Cypriot Greek wife Demetra recently after 34 years of marriage. This channel is dedicated to her memory.

I thought I'd do the work to produce soundtracks of popular songs with both their Greek lyrics and English translations as running sub titles. This channel and the video content is primarily aimed at being an aid to LEARNING GREEK and is not a music channel as such. Just music & lyrics - LESS IS MORE!

If you're busy learning to speak Greek, why not take it easy and watch and listen to the videos I have here. At the very least you should enjoy the music, but most probably you'll have your Greek learning reinforced too!
