On padded paws, it claims its prize,

A thread, a toy, the world its guise.

With playful leaps, it takes its share,

A little thief without a care.

Yet who could blame this feline grace,

A bandit cloaked in furred embrace?

For every theft, a heart is won,

A crime of charm, beneath the sun.

So let it steal, let mischief play,

A cat's sweet plunder lights our day.
