About Prabodhanand Saraswati Swami

His Holiness Prabodhanand Saraswati Swami Maharaj appeared in 1957 on Krishna Paksha Dwadashi in Kartik, in Remuna, Odisha—home of Lord Kheerchor Gopinath. He joined ISKCON Vrindavan in 1984 as a brahmachari, took first and brahminical initiation from HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj in 1985, and accepted sannyasa in 2008 on Papamochani Ekadashi, becoming his first sannyasi disciple. In 2024, on Shayani Ekadashi, he became an initiating guru. He led the Sankirtan Department, inspiring book distribution, and headed the New Bhakta Training for five years. He has preached across India, the US, UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland), and East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda). Longest Serving brahmachari at ISKCON Vrindavan, he is revered for his mastery of Gaudiya scriptures like Chaitanya Bhagavata, inspiring acharya glorifications, soulful kirtans, humility, devotion, and lifelong dedication to Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
