He has received formal certifications as an ‘Alim,’ specializing in subjects like Qur’an, Tafsir, Hadith, Arabic Grammar, Beliefs & Creed, and Islamic Law (Fiqh & Usul). He also holds a specialization in Islamic jurisprudence (Takhasus fil Fiqh) and is certified as a "Mufti," authorizing him to issue Fatwas.
For over 3 years, Mufti Idrees has been teaching Islamic sciences and teaching at Jamia Tur Rasheed. He is answering fiqhi questions, and regularly delivers talks (Bayanaat) at Masjid Ayisha, Karachi.
