About Retired Afloat
We're an Australian couple who took a chance and retired early. We purchased a boat in England, cruised it across the English Channel to France and now spend much of each year cruising around the rivers, canals and coastlines of Europe. In October when it gets too cold for us, we put the boat into hibernation somewhere and continue our travels. We spend much of our "off-season" travelling the world on luxury cruise ships giving speaking presentations about some of the great maritime adventurers and explorers.
