Music was much better in the '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s and early '90s: bands knew what they were doing. Rock and roll is about energy and expression and not trying to be generic like most of today's bands. I'd trade all the shitty nu-metal, post-grunge and emo bands for one glam metal, hard rock, psychadelic, glam rock or true grunge band to shine like in the golden days of Rock and Roll. Sure, a few artists still know what Rock is (Foo Fighters, Weezer, JET, Priestess, David Cook, etc.), but the rest are all about money. Music is NOT about money. It's about producing great, original songs.
