The Institute for Positive Psychology and Education (IPPE) at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) is one of the world's top ranked Institutes in the field of psychology and educational psychology. IPPE's vision is to lead scientific research that empowers individuals and groups to thrive. Collectively, our research team has been awarded over 33 ARC grants (including Discovery, Linkage, ARC Future Fellowship and DECRAs).

IPPE researchers are internationally recognised for our substantive and methodological advances in well-being, resilience, and self-concept research; our advanced quantitative analysis (particularly in the integration of confirmatory factor analysis, latent variable structural equation models, and multilevel models, as well as on the development and applications of advanced statistical models for longitudinal data, exploratory structural equation models, and mixture models); and for developing psychometrically sound measures of important psycho-social outcomes.
