Tochtergesellschaften) ist das Klinikum Braunschweig eines der größten Arbeitgeber in der Region. Es versorgt als Krankenhaus der Maximalversorgung auf universitärem Niveau die Region Braunschweig mit rund 1,2 Millionen Einwohnern.
Mit 21 Kliniken, 10 selbständigen klinischen Abteilungen und 7 Instituten wird nahezu das komplette Fächerspektrum der Medizin abgedeckt. Pro Jahr werden mehr als 50.000 Patienten stationär und rund 200.000 ambulant behandelt.
